Life slips by...

(Contribution from L - one of those perfectly worded gems that spring a suprise)

And the days are not full enough
And the nights are not full enough
And life slips by like a field mouse
Not shaking the grass.

Ezra Pound, at times, IS a whiney old prig who likes grumbling over what little he hasn't got.

Hi Sudeep. Thanks for visiting and setting this one up for me.Wouldn't have known how to go about it.What's up. Just came back from a trip to manali with abhi(visited till keylong);then did a camp with children at saat tal and now abhi and i are setting out again to finish our trip to leh from manali.Hope it is as memorable an experience as old manali was with its roadside cafes'..umm i can smell the freshly baked bread from Abhay's The mexican cafe(includes a bakery), melt in the mouth chocolate chip cookie (at a coffee outlet called roasted and toasted or something of the sort, it had a nice painting of bob dylan-a work of art created by four tourists without collaboration..can you imagine that...some interesting conversation and people; i could just sit and observe all day long. Fascinating place. I wish i could just chill and absorb some time there doing nothing instead of heading from one place to another. But on a shoe string budget this was one of my best travels till date. Will share pix later.
love, take care shalini.
